Spiritual Formation

Spiritual Formation at Summit Church refers to the process of growing disciples in Christ-likeness as expressed in the five outcomes : Intimacy with God, Christlike Character, Grace Story, Spiritual Giftedness & Stewardship of Life.

The Spiritual Formation process consists of Journey Groups (small groups), Focus Communities, and our Tools & Resources page. Our desire is that all of the people that call Summit Church their home would attach to a Journey Group and would ultimately become a "Missional Partner" (Membership). Focus Communities are environments offered periodically for you to engage in learning more about God, His Church and His mission in order to help you mature in your spiritual journey. We have also developed a Tools & resources page on this site full of suggestions and links and resources for your personal time with God. We do not claim to believe that these things in themselves will make you “spiritually formed” but we do believe that these things will help you mature and grow as you pursue intimacy with God as your greatest treasure.
